For the past 10 hours, I had been reading tutorials on Spreadsheet Mapper 2.0 and Fusion Tables and the different ways to reproduce maps. Here is a comparison between two alternatives. While trying to reproduce Naya Pul to Muktinath (Jomsom Trekking Route) downloaded from activityworkshop.net, I realise Spreadsheet Mapper 2.0 does not allow to create tracks whereas fusion table does - one major difference between two. I needed capability to create tracks especially for this map thus I carried on with Fusion Tables. Right now the table is very basic – I shall add new fields and ballooning functions later.
